How each service is priced

What moves the price
Revenue matters less than you might think. What drives the work, and so the price, is how much there is to record and reconcile each month.

Catching up first
If your books are behind when we start, bringing them up to date is cleanup work. It starts at $350, and the figure above that is set by the number of transactions and how far behind the books are, which comes down to how many months are missing and how much needs fixing. We look at your books on the free consultation before we quote it, so you know that cost before the monthly work begins.
For CPA firms: hourly or full-time
Firms that hand us white-label bookkeeping, month-end close or tax-season work pay by the hour, which suits volume that rises and falls through the year. Firms with steady work can instead add a full-time accountant. We quote both per firm, based on volume and the roles you need.
Bookkeeping and tax together
Many clients have us do both. We keep the books and prepare and file the return, so the return is built from reconciled numbers and there's no year-end handoff to chase. We quote tax preparation and filing when we quote your bookkeeping.
Best for a small business with a few hundred transactions a month across two or three accounts that also wants its return filed: SF Business Solutions quotes the books and the return together, and most clients pay $250 a month.
