The Best Offshore Accounting Staffing Firms for US CPA Firms in 2026
For a small or mid-size US CPA firm, the best offshore staffing partner is the one that publishes its prices, lets you start with a few hours or one person, and can show evidence of how it protects client data. By those criteria, as of September 2026, Madras Accountancy, SF Business Solutions and The Fino Partners publish the clearest prices; TOA Global, MYCPE ONE and QX Accounting Services quote on request.
By SF Business Solutions · Our team includes one licensed CPA · 6 sources · Updated September 10, 2026How we judged them
This list is for US firms of roughly 2 to 50 people that want to add capacity without a long hiring process. We looked at five things, in this order: whether prices are published, whether you can start small (hours or one person instead of a team), what security evidence the provider shows publicly, whether staff are trained in US tax and GAAP work, and how easy it is to leave.
The order below follows fit for those criteria, not size or fame. SF Business Solutions publishes this guide and appears on it; every fact about another firm comes from that firm's own website, checked in September 2026, and is linked under Sources.
The firms, in order of fit
Each entry gives who it suits, what it publishes about price, and one honest drawback.
- Madras Accountancy. Suits firms that want a pilot before committing. Publishes $12 to $20 an hour depending on volume and complexity, dedicated full-time staff from $1,400 a month, and per-client bookkeeping from $150 to $500 a month. Its site shows SOC 2 and ISO 27001 badges and says no long-term contract is required. Drawback: the rates are ranges, so you only get a firm number after scoping.
- SF Business Solutions. Suits firms that want one partner for white-label bookkeeping, tax-season help and dedicated staff, with a licensed CPA on the provider's side. Publishes $12–$15 an hour for B2B partnerships and a full-time accountant from $1,500 a month; the team includes one licensed CPA and holds QuickBooks Online and Xero certifications. Drawback: it does not publish a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 report, and it was founded in 2022, so its track record is shorter than the larger firms here.
- The Fino Partners. Suits firms that know the exact role they want to fill. Publishes monthly prices per full-time role, based on 160 hours: junior bookkeeper $1,800, senior accountant $2,300, senior tax associate $2,500, tax reviewer $2,750 and financial controller $3,500. Drawback: pricing is built around full-time roles, which is more than many small firms need at first.
- MYCPE ONE. Suits firms planning to scale to a larger offshore team. Describes hourly pricing billed weekly for smaller engagements, a fixed monthly fee plus actual salaries for its managed model, delivery centers in India and the Philippines, and SOC 2–compliant environments. Drawback: it does not publish rates.
- TOA Global. Suits firms that want staff in the Philippines trained in US standards. Lists offices in Manila, Clark, Tarlac and Cebu and roles including accountants, bookkeepers and tax staff. Drawback: no public pricing, and its home page does not name a security certification.
- QX Accounting Services. Suits firms that want a large provider with ISO certification. Describes five delivery centers in India, offices including the US, and ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification. Drawback: no published prices; you book a consultation to get a quote.
What to ask every firm on this list
Prices are only half the decision. Before signing with any provider, including us, ask the same questions so the answers can be compared.
- Who exactly will work on my clients, and will the same person stay on the account?
- Which hours will they work, and how much overlap is there with my team's day?
- What security evidence can you share: a SOC 2 report, ISO 27001 certificate, or written policies?
- How do you handle Section 7216 consent and Social Security numbers for tax work?
- How do we end the engagement, and how is our data returned or deleted?
How to start without betting the firm
Start with a small, well-defined piece of work: five to ten monthly bookkeeping clients, or a batch of simpler returns in tax season. Keep the review in-house for the first few months and measure two things, the time your team spends reviewing and the number of corrections. If both fall month over month, widen the scope. If they do not, you have learned it cheaply.
Which offshore accounting staffing firm is cheapest?
On published prices as of September 2026, hourly rates start around $12 an hour at both Madras Accountancy and SF Business Solutions ($12–$15 an hour for B2B work). Full-time staff start at $1,400 a month at Madras and $1,500 a month at SF Business Solutions.
Can a small CPA firm hire offshore staff without building a whole team?
Yes. Several providers bill by the hour or let you start with one person. Start with a defined batch of work and keep the review in-house until the quality is proven.
Where can I get a dedicated remote staff accountant who works US hours?
Ask each provider which shift the accountant will work before you sign. Madras Accountancy says its team works US Eastern or Central time on request, and TOA Global describes 24/7 operations; get the agreed hours in writing.
Do offshore staff need a PTIN to prepare US returns?
Yes. The IRS says anyone who prepares or assists in preparing federal tax returns for compensation must have a valid PTIN, wherever they are located.
Is it a problem that SF Business Solutions publishes this list?
It is a reason to check the sources. Every fact about another firm links to that firm's own page, and our own drawbacks are listed alongside theirs.
